Munchkin Mabel

She's 6 months old... a few things to record...
  • We finally found her on her back one morning...meaning she finally rolled over.
  • She is very ticklish and laughs when we kiss her
  • Food makes her tummy hurt, but she so desperately wants all food...it's sad
  • Her hands shake with excitement when she sees her bottle
  • Her eye goop is finally gone (mostly)
  • She laughs at the sound of almost empty bottles being squeezed
  • She is scared of plastic bags rustling
  • She sucks her thumb with one hand and grabs her blanket with the other while going to sleep
  • She sleeps all night and eats every 3 hours during the day
  • She loves fans and her mobile in her room
This Mabel girl is such a sweetheart. She loves to be happy. She just loves life, which makes me love life. Ruby was my first child and I was in school so I missed out on a lot of the enjoyment. Sadie was colicky and I had a 2 year old running around so she was also hard to enjoy as a baby. Mae had a rough few months, but I seriously enjoy this baby so much. I am busy with 3, but the older girls share in the excitement of Mabel. They love her so much. They are constantly chanting "Mae" in baby voices and smothering her all over.

I really enjoyed the months(or was it weeks, before I was sick with Ray?) I spent with Ruby while you were in school. She was a good baby.

Mabel sounds great- I think three would be really scary, but maybe if there is enough distance, it isn't so bad. I love your three girls!

I have loved ALL your babies. Baby Mae is a sweetie. I remember loving the babies as the oldest child. This baby is indeed a special experience for Ruby and Sadie.

My first four were so close together I didn't really experience what you are feeling right now until Nathan. He was the light in everyone's life and was flooded with unconditional love!
